Challenge Cup Pro-AM Qualifier
Selected Clubs throughout Arizona including Blackstone CC, Desert Highlands GC and the Desert Mountain Golf Club will be holding qualifying tournaments for teams to participate in the 2023 Challenge Cup ProAM.
To participate in a qualifying team, each member from the foursome must make a donation in the amount of $400 to either Phoenix Children's Hospital,
St. Vincent de Paul or Rosie's House (or a combination thereof).
Each course or club has the opportunity to enter one team into the ProAm for every six teams competing for qualification. Each team will play as a foursome and post a score with two net best balls. Participation is open to all Arizona golf courses and clubs. Participation may be limited to the initial 20 clubs or course qualifiers. When a club or course has accumulated six team qualifying donations and scores, they are then elibigle to enter the club's winning team to play in the Challenge Cup Pro Am on April 17, 2023 at Desert Highlands Golf Club for only $400 per group to cover green fees.
Once you have informed your club of your interest to participate in the Challenge Cup Qualifier, just make your donation to either Phoenix Children's Hospital,
St. Vincent de Paul or Rosie's House using the link below and share your receipt as proof of payment.
If your team is your club's winning team and qualifies for the ProAm, you can then register for the Challenge Cup ProAm. Qualified Challenge Cup Pro-Am teams will be able to register starting February 1, 2022, at this website.
AZ TAX CREDIT INFORMATION
If players are AZ residents, they are eligible to receive the dollar-for-dollar Arizona Charitable Tax Credit. If eligible, this donation is then no net cost to each resident AZ player, after taxes. All three charities are Qualifying Charitable Organizations under Arizona Tax Law and donors to these organizations qualify for this $400 single, married filing separately or head of household tax credit.
Qualifier Registration
To register for a qualifying event, notify your club of your interest, then make a direct AZ tax-credit donation to either St. Vincent de Paul, Phoenix Children's Hospital or Rosie's House using the buttons.
Registration opens February 1, 2022 for the winning teams from each qualifying event.
